Nick Cave received his BFA from Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. His artwork is described as whimsical and bizarre and he uses performance, costume, sound, and color to create his pieces of artwork. His intentions with his artwork is to explore the African identity in disparate culture by using visual art and dance.
